Pantechnicon is inviting kids to join them in Studio to craft their very own koi carp Koinobori streamer flags in celebration of Japanese Children’s Day on the 1st and 2nd May.

Children’s Day is a national holiday in Japan which celebrates children’s personalities and happiness. The day is represented by flying koi carp streamer flags, known as koinobori – as carp swim upstream they are often used as a symbol of perseverance and courage.

On 1st and 2nd May Pantechnicon is hosting koi carp streamer flag workshops, led by their in-house designer, Moe Nakagawa. All of the materials for the workshops will be provided by Pantechnicon, so all you have to do is book your space and turn up for an artsy, fun kids activity.

Choose either the 10am, 10.45am or 11.30am time-slots on 1st and 2nd May. The workshops are £10 each, with the ticket price redeemable against any purchase made at Pantechnicon on 1st and 2nd May, simply show your ticket confirmation to a member of the Pantechnicon team to redeem.
