There is something to tempt every tastebud among the enticing new foodie offerings popping up around Belgravia. From indulgent gelato, cold brew coffee and colourful cocktails to sushi, French fine dining and Italian feasting. Here are our nine favourite new openings to have on your gastronomic radar.

Cornus

A lemon tart on a white plate

Enjoying an enviably elevated position on the top floor of the stunning Ice Factory building in Eccleston Yards, Cornus is the second restaurant from the stellar team behind Medlar in Chelsea. Already fast becoming an iconic - not to mention Instagrammable - order is the hand-rolled spaghetti topped with Cornish lobster and finished with Oscietra caviar. Plus in a nod to head chef Gary Foulkes’ past role working at Elystan Street, the ‘Phil Howard’s langoustine with truffle and parmesan gnocchi’ is another must order plate.

Wildflowers

One of the most highly anticipated launches of 2024, when Wildflowers blossoms it will complete the Newson’s Yard interiors district on Pimlico Road. Set to officially open on September 27, Wildflowers is a restaurant, bar and deli all in one, under the skilful direction of chef Aaron Potter and styled by designer Laura Hart. A laid-back atmosphere awaits at this neighbourhood venue, complete with antique furniture and open fire (not to mention hyper seasonal) cooking.

Parker's

food

Parker’s has officially landed at the Jumeirah Lowndes hotel, after a successful August soft launch. The Middle Eastern restaurant group, which is giving an all-day, alcohol-free offering, brings popular dishes from Parker’s in Dubai like Zaatar Benedict on the brunch menu, alongside American-inspired crowd pleasers like the spicy Mac and Cheetos.

Harry's

Bellinis, wood-fired pizzas, aubergine parmigiana, tiramisu - you name it, all the Italian bases are covered at Venetian-inspired Harry’s, a recent opening on the corner of Grosvenor Gardens and just a stone’s throw from Victoria station. Live your sweetest life with the signature Harry’s toadstool dessert, a mega indulgent white chocolate, raspberry and pistachio creation, and bag an outdoor table (there are two terraces to choose from) for a cosy date night this winter.

The Alchemist

 Interior of The Alchemist

Who are we to fight the alchemy? Or so sang Taylor Swift in her Tortured Poets Department era. We certainly wouldn’t think twice about waving the white flag and tucking into all the dishes on the brunch, lunch or dinner menus. But after dark is when The Alchemist bar really comes alive, with theatrical mixologists shaking up boozy concoctions like the fruity Hit and Rum, wasabi-infused Pea-cante or non-alcoholic ‘no and low’ tipples.

Common Breads

Modern Lebanese bakery Common Breads opened in May on Buckingham Palace Road, bringing classic Beiruti street food to Belgravia. Inspired by traditional Lebanese bakeries, the signature made-to-order bakes coming out the oven are purse-shaped ka’ak and manouche flatbreads with tasty toppings such as courgette, halloumi and chilli. These are served alongside fresh Middle Eastern salads, snacks and sweet delicacies like chocolate tahini brownies or a spoiling date and peanut butter cheesecake.

Amorino Gelato

The ultimate in after-school spoiling, Amorino Gelato is the perfect pit-stop for an exquisitely presented floral-styled ice cream, or even a sorbet-filled macaron (the latter paying homage to the company’s French heritage). There is plenty of hot stuff on the menu too, from crêpes and waffles to whipped cream-topped hot chocolate. Head to Buckingham Palace road to get the scoop.

Coming soon to Belgravia

Cleo

Cleo is a soon-to-open classic all day restaurant, brunch spot and bar coming to Elizabeth Street. With tonal interiors, it feels a bit Parisian, part midtown New York; and the name Cleo - meaning ‘the celebrated one’ - is a hint that it’s sure not to disappoint when it comes to showing patrons a good time.

Petite NAC

Congratulations to Mayfair’s North Audley Club, on the imminent arrival of little sister Petite NAC on Belgravia’s Motcomb Street. The OG outpost, which already has a handful of sibling sites in the Middle East -  is known for signature small plates like the flamed miso aubergine with crispy rice, alongside a tempting truffle burger and rigatoni alla vodka as irresistible mains. So naturally we can’t wait to see what’s on the menu in Belgravia’s very own NAC.
