Ring Making Masterclasses at Catherine Best

Catherine Best is delighted to announce that it is hosting ring making masterclasses in its Elizabeth Street workshop. Joining these classes will give you a captivating behind-the-scenes peek into the world of jewellery making, where you will learn techniques that have been perfected over centuries.
On your arrival at the Elizabeth Street showroom, you'll be warmly welcome you with a light breakfast and provide a concise introduction to the art of jewellery making. As part of the introductory process, your ring size will be measured and then you can discuss the specific type of ring you'd like to create, ensuring that the jeweller is prepared ahead of the class.
After the introduction you will be taken to the workshop where you will meet a friendly and skilled jeweller where he will provide a detailed explanation of the techniques you will be utilizing throughout the morning. During the class, you can discover a selection of loose gemstones to further ignite your inspiration. While incorporating stones into your design is optional and may incur an additional cost, Catherine Best is more than willing to discuss this possibility with you. Additionally, if you wish, the store can also explore the option of casting the ring in gold or platinum.
Once you have completed crafting your unique ring, it will be carefully stored in our workshop. The jeweller will assist you with any final touches before the ring proceeds to the moulding and casting stage, where it will be crafted in silver for you to for a lifetime. To commemorate the occasion, the store will invite you to raise a glass of champagne and celebrate immediately after the class!
The classes can accommodate up to four guests, making them perfect for groups, pairs, or even if you prefer to join on your own and meet like-minded individuals.
