Belgravia is known for its beautiful architecture, high-end shops, and fantastic restaurants. It’s also home to some of the most prestigious embassies in the world! But there’s more to the area than just fancy mansions and fancy cars. Its cobbled streets are lined with artisan shops and quaint cafes, making it the perfect place to spend a day exploring.

Whether you’re a local looking for a new neighbourhood to explore or a tourist wondering how to get to Belgravia, this guide will show you the way.

Where is Belgravia in London?

Belgravia is located in the City of Westminster, just southwest of Buckingham Palace. However, a bit of Belgravia's western section spills onto the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, so you could technically say that Belgravia is in both Westminster and Chelsea.

Bordering neighbourhoods include Knightsbridge to the north, Buckingham Palace Road and Grosvenor Place to the east, Pimlico Road to the south, and Sloane Street to the west.

Thanks to its location, it's an excellent base for exploring London. Most key tourist attractions are within walking distance, including Big Ben, the Natural History Museum, Madame Tussauds on Baker Street, and the amazing Sherlock Holmes Museum.

If you want to just bask in Belgravia's luxury, though, that's perfectly fine too. Window shopping along Sloane Street is an experience in itself! You'll also find everything from chocolatiers, artisan bakers, vintners, and independent retailers, to high-end designer stores like Gucci, Dior, and Hermes.

The only thing missing? You! So let's talk about how to get you there.
